48 Hours in Quebec City

Since I moved to Canada, I have been reading about the beauty of this picturesque town. I don’t think you will find such European charm anywhere else is North America from storied past, narrow alleys, and magnificent architecture. Plus, if you are brave enough to venture out in a bit of cold (I mean very cold ~-30 ° C), you will find this place turns literally into a fairy tale castle during Christmas that you may have only seen in Disney movies. How to reach You can fly to Jean Lesage International Airport, which is approximately 30 minutes away from Old Quebec City. The other option is to drive from Montreal, which is approximately 3 hours away. We drove to Quebec City from Toronto, which is approximately 8 hours. We didn’t want to rush, so we decided to split the drive over two days. We left Toronto i...

BEACHES IN MYKONOS

From the town of Mykonos as you move to the southern side of it i.e. its beaches they are totally different. Mykonos has one of the best beaches that I have ever saw. The lush green with villages at the side and the turquoise blue water. Mesmerizing it was, here you will find Mykonos as “Party Island”

Beaches are full from morning till late night during the peak season with the youngsters mostly. Here you can relax, swim, enjoy the drinks, dance and do some water sports. As the sun sets on one side and on the other hand party begins and continues till the sunrises.

The most popular beach among the tourist is PARADISE BEACH. It’s a nice beach but overcrowded. If you want to relax in peace I would say do not visit but if you want to be a part of the crowd it’s the best place to go. You will find many travernas, pubs and water activities going around.

My favorite beach was SUPER PARADISE a beautiful beach with beach side Restaurant and bar, calm and quiet. Which in the evening turns into a party beach.

To reach the beaches and explore the southern part either you go for public transport or hire a car or ATV or scooter. You can ask your hotel they can arrange one for you at a better price. We hired the bike for the day and the drive was adventurous with wind blowing and the curvy steep roads throughout the town.

Lighthouse of Mykonos gives you a nice view of the town.

Recommendations:
  • Take your own towel and umbrella if you are on a budget and find your own place.
  • The best way to explore is to hire a bike or ATV and drive throughout and explore.
