It was almost six months since I have moved to Canada and living just a two-hour drive from Niagara Falls. I was eagerly waiting for winters to end so that i can plan our visit to Niagara, one of the biggest attraction of Canada. There is no doubt that the fall view is best from the Canada side in spite of American fall and bridal veil fall lying on USA Side. Finally, it was time to plan a trip. I was super excited to visit and see the fall that we all are hearing from our childhood.
I planned to stay at Clifton Road. It is very close to the fall, and you can avoid the huge parking cost. We reached Niagara in the afternoon, and it was time for a good lunch. I chose to try lunch buffet of 'Passage to India' and though the variety of food was good taste was okay. Now the time was to park the car and walk on the busy Clifton Road in the hustle and bustle all the way down to reach the falls.

There are numerous attractions on the Clifton Hill primarily designed for families such as the haunted house, fudge factory, sky wheel and all kind of restaurants. At the end of Clifton Hill road, I finally got my first glimpse of the falls with cold March winds touching our face. I walked the entire stretch of the fall with multiple photo stops. In-spite of such cold weather I could not resist myself from freezing my hands just to get some clicks. It took us almost two hours to cover the falls at a leisurely speed.

As we reached the end of the fall there, I was mesmerized by the size of the fall and the gushing sound of the water falling. On the opposite side, there was the visitor center where i bought some coffee and relaxed near the fall. As I was enjoying the view, suddenly there was a rainbow in the sky. The crowd got super excited by seeing the Rainbow.

There are multiple activities near falls, but most of them including super famous 'Maid of the Mist' were closed in March.
Here is an introduction of some of the activities one can enjoy:
MAID OF THE MIST
It is one of the most popular attractions of the area. The boat takes close to the base of the falls. So close in fact, that everyone is provided raincoats to protect against the heavy mist and spray from the falls. But just keep in mind that the maid of the mist works only in the summers.
AQUARIUM OF NIAGARA
Aquarium of Niagara offers a variety of marine animals, including sea lions, penguins, and otters. Some of the highlights include seal, shark, and penguin feedings, and the sea lion training sessions.

After exploring all the attractions, we went back to our room to get some rest and get ready to experience the falls once again in the night. Falls look beautiful in the night with multiple colored lights falling on them. We headed to:
SKY WHEEL OR SKYLON TOWER OBSERVATION DECK
You can choose any one of the two as both of them give you the view of the fall and the city. I decided to go with Sky wheel to enjoy the view of the whole town lit in lights and the colorful falls. The ride duration varies from 8 to 12 minutes with spectacular aerial views for miles in every direction.

On the other hand, The Skylon Tower includes indoor/outdoor observation
of the Falls from 233 meters (775)' and the Skylon Tower Revolving
Dining Room. At the base, Niagara’s largest indoor amusement area,
Skylon Fun Centre, complete with a food court and 4D Theatre.

After enjoying the ride on the sky wheel, we headed towards the fall to have a close look at the colorful fall. With this, our journey to Niagara came to an end adding one more page to my life.
On weekends you can also witness the firework show that happens above the fall. There are many other attractions also like The wax museum, Marine-land, Nightmares Fear Factory, etc. If you have kids, you can take them to all these attractions which they would love.
