48 Hours in Quebec City

Since I moved to Canada, I have been reading about the beauty of this picturesque town. Two Weeks Road Trip in Western Canada


Day 1: Vancouver

Fly in to Vancouver. Take the day at leisure.

Stay: Vancouver

Day 2: Vancouver

Start the trip with exploring the city of Vancouver. Start your day with exploring Stanley park. Take a walk along the Brockton Point with a nice view of skyline and also visit Prospect Point. You can also explore Downtown and Granville Island.

Day 3: Whistler

Drive from Vancouver to whistler. On the way you can take some quick stops at Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls Provincial Park. After reaching Whistler explore the village and take a dip in Lost lake and relax.

Stay: Whistler village or nearby towns

Day 4: Whistler & drive to Clearwater

Head back to the village and take gondola ride enjoy the peaks and do some outdoor activities. You can also take some chairlift to walk on the suspension bridge or try some zipline or do some hike. Spend half day exploring mountains. After enjoying Whistler drive to clearwater and relax.

Day 5: Wells Gray Provincial Park, Mt Robson Provincial Park & Jasper

Start morning with exploring the must go waterfalls in Wells gray provincial park and then leave for Jasper National Park. On the way you can explore Mt. Robson Provincial park and continue your journey to Jasper and relax your evening there.

Day 6 & 7: Jasper National Park

Explore and do some hike to explore the park at its best. Some of the major attractions to visit are Maligne Canyon, Pyramid beach & Island, Medicine Lake, Lake Edith & Annette and jasper Town. Most the major attractions can be explored without hike.

Day 8: Icefields Parkway & Banff

Head towards Banff through Icefields Parkway. One of the most beautiful drive on entire trip. On the way you can take multiple stops while exploring the Canadian Rockies like Athabasca Falls and Glacier, Sunwapta Falls, Peyto and Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier. And head to Banff town.

Day 9 & 10: Banff National Park

Explore Banff town, Surprise Corner View, Bow Falls, Cave & Basin, Lake Minnewanka, Johnston Canyon, Tunnel Mountain, Sulphur Mountain Gondola, Vermillion Lake, Bow Valley parkway.

Stay: Banff

Day 11: Lake Louise

Explore Lake Louise, Lake Moraine

Stay: Lake Louise / Yoho National Park (Field)

Day 12: Yoho National Park, Glacier National Park & Revelstoke

Explore Takakkaw Falls, the natural bridge over the Kicking Horse River, and Emerald Lake and head to Revelstoke National Park. On the way, you can make some quick stops at various view points in Glacier National Park, take Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail while entering Revelstoke and head to your hotel.

Stay: Revelstoke

Day 13: Revelstoke National park & Kelowna

Head to Meadows in the sky parkway enjoy the beauty of mountains and meadows. Head to the wine county of Kelowna explore some vineyards, explore the town and relax.

Stay: Kelowna

Day 14: Vancouver

Drive from Kelowna to Vancouver and fly back.


NOTE:
  • This is an active itinerary that requires significant driving. 
  • You can also fly to Calgary and make the Day 9 as your Day 2 and continue the loop.
  • You need an additional three days to explore Vancouver Islands where you can explore Victoria, Nanaimo and Tofino and see the whales.
