48 Hours in Quebec City

Since I moved to Canada, I have been reading about the beauty of this picturesque town. I don’t think you will find such European charm anywhere else is North America from storied past, narrow alleys, and magnificent architecture. Plus, if you are brave enough to venture out in a bit of cold (I mean very cold ~-30 ° C), you will find this place turns literally into a fairy tale castle during Christmas that you may have only seen in Disney movies. How to reach You can fly to Jean Lesage International Airport, which is approximately 30 minutes away from Old Quebec City. The other option is to drive from Montreal, which is approximately 3 hours away. We drove to Quebec City from Toronto, which is approximately 8 hours. A week exploring Quebec

Day 1: Arrive in Quebec City
It’s 3 hours drive from Montreal and 8 hours drive from Toronto. You can fly directly to Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport and rent a car from the airport. Relax the day in the town.

Day 2: Quebec City
Enjoy your breakfast and start exploring the town. Spend the day exploring Old Quebec City. Take the Levis Ferry tour in the evening and stay in Quebec City.

Day 3: Quebec City
Start the day by exploring Montgomery Falls, spend half a day exploring the fall. If you have time you can visit Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier. Stay at Quebec City or you can leave for Tadoussac and stay there. Baie-Saint-Paul is also a good option for the stay, it is approximately 1.30 hours from Quebec City.

Day 4: Tadoussac
Leave early morning for Tadoussac. It is approximately 3 hours drive from Quebec City. You can make a stop in Baie Saint Paul. Enjoy whale watching tour in Tadoussac and relax.

Day 5: Saguenay
Saguenay is approximately 1.30 hours' drive from Tadoussac. Explore the town and the Fjord and spend the night near Quebec City. Saguenay could not entice me. I would recommend skipping it.

Day 6: Sherbrooke
Reach Sherbrooke and explore the areas of eastern township and stay in Sherbrooke.

Day 7: Sherbrooke
Explore the area.

7: Depart
Drive back to Toronto or fly back from Montreal or Quebec City.

Note:
If you want to explore Montreal and the surrounding area, you will need at least one day for each city to explore. I would highly recommend visiting Mt Tremblant Village for a day.
